Chinese cooking uses three methods of sauteing, which is also called “shallow-cooking.” Sauteing uses much less oil than deep-frying and is done at lower temperatures than stir-frying. Ingredients are usually cut into slices or flat pieces. Seasonings are added after the food is browned.

What Effect Does Coffee Have on High Blood Pressure?

A Finnish study recently tracked over 24,000 citizens with no prior history of hypertension or high blood pressure for a period of thirteen years to attempt to find a causal link between high blood pressure and coffee. The ages of the participants were between 25 and 64 years old. The study also required was that they had no history of hypertension drug use and no history of stroke or heart disease.

The results of the study were inconclusive leaving it an open question as to how much coffee drinking affects hypertension.
